Fiat Panda 4x4 small powerhouse renewed
For many years. Like who will drive through Tuscanys many Panda 4x4 encounter completely covered in dust that on the difficult terrain and roads outside Tuscan hills behind. The model has evolved over the past thirty years and made indispensable to Super Panda developed. And therefore could be a new generation of course inevitable.
Tough looks
for looks, Fiats Centro Stile the baselines of the Panda maximum honored, but there are some cool features added. The front and rear bumpers are completely redrawn, the fenders with plastic inserts and the doors were the robust-looking plastic coated. In combination with a pair of sturdy wheels and one of the two exclusively for the Panda 4x4 available colors (Silica orange and green Tuscany shown here) the Panda 4x4 looks really like a little powerhouse.
Torque on Demand
Strength is relative, but the previous generations have proven even much larger, more expensive and more powerful SUVs and 4x4s to outwit. The short wheelbase provides a great advantage on steep slopes and the compact dimensions and low weight are favored in loose sand. But there is more. Thus the model is equipped with a torque on demand system with two differentials and an electronically controlled clutch. The permanent all-wheel drive can thus optimally distribute forces to the Panda in quite extreme terrain to stand his ground.
Petrol and diesel
to drive Fiat offers a choice of two engines: the TwinAir Turbo 85 hp and 75 hp engine II diesel. Compared with the 1.2 Fire petrol engines of the previous generation gasoline engine delivers 40% more torque and also know the diesel engine 30% more pulling power to arouse. According to Fiat that especially on steep slopes and when starting to bear fruit.
Panda more news ...
The Panda 4x4 seems all set back quite a bit in the house to its position as a small powerhouse secure. You see the concept itself right, but you do not need those wheel drive? Good news, Fiat will at the world premiere of the 4x4 at the Paris Motor Show, the Panda Trekking present. Which builds a bridge between the ordinary and the Panda 4x4. Well the looks, not performance so. And if that were not enough, there on the Fiat Panda Natural Power mode also powered by a 80 hp TwinAir Turbo that both natural gas and gasoline (or a combination of both) can run. Enough Panda news so in Paris!
